Richard Wright – President and CEO
Richard started Wright’s Media in 1992 with his father, Dick Wright, which at the time was called Publisher’s Custom Reprints at the time. The business began by printing reprints for magazines, then the business evolved and expanded into content licensing services. Wright’s Media acquired LicenseStream in May of 2014, and continues to be a leader in the content licensing and marketing industries.
Brian Kolb – COO
Brian spearheads the sales, licensing, production and research at Wright’s Media. A Southern Illinois alumnus, Brian returned to Texas to pursue his professional career, joining the Wright’s Media team in 2005. Brian leads the Wright’s Media team and oversees all of the day-to-day operations. His expertise and insights are on display every day, whether it be leading a sales meeting, blogging or in the articles he writes (some of which have been published by Crowdshifter.com, BtoB Magazine, Publishing Executive, and a few others).
Scott Barnes – CFO
Scott has over twenty-five years of broad corporate and financial consulting experience. He graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and is a certified public accountant. Scott has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, business strategy and negotiations. He has worked for several large corporations such as; Quanta Services, Dynegy and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led and participated in several acquisitions and created and implemented strategic initiatives. His abilities to identify business opportunities and navigate through acquisition and start-up processes are assets to our clients.
